Once upon a time, a few days ago, a tomboy named Brooke was woken up to start on school, her brother the Ogre, Duke, was also woken, but didn't actually get up until Brooke was already done with her breakfast. This was how her day normally went. Wake, food, school, more food, more school, food, momentary freedom until bed.
But thus today was different than normal! Brooke's father came into the room about 10-ish to announce that they would go Frisbee Golfing! So Her, her no-longer-an-ogre brother, and her father packed their frisbees and water before jumping into their rather large truck and heading to the park! "Woo-Hoo!" They cheered as they blasted music and yelled at various other cars for being stupid.
After a few minutes, they were forced to pay the mean man in the box that is normally NEVER there and parked next to the 1st hole. Hole after hole they went. It was a nice day, the breeze was cool and the sky was cloudy. Though they were still exhausted by the halfway point, they were having a lot of fun. Duke had almost hit Brooke with a frisbee once or twice, but she made sure to return the favor. ;)
By the time the three were done, they were tired and very hungry, so they started discussing what to eat. They soon decided on Chinese food! At first they were going to a normal little Chinese joint, but then decided they wanted more of a variety. So they went to a buffet! xD They had fun choosing all the different kinds of foods, but weren't very good at using chopsticks. Then Duke had the brilliant idea of wanting to try sushi. Brooke and their father tried to warn him, but alas, he did it anyway. The two laughed at the look on his face when he stuffed the first one in his mouth. Then they laughed harder when he tried the other one, which he told them was worse. Brooke regretted not bringing her camera at that moment.
By the time they got home, Brooke started back up on homework, feeling stuffed to the point of falling onto the couch when she was done. Then the days of the normal life style started again. Well, with this family, nothing is really 'normal' now that I think about it.
Hope you guy's enjoyed this guest post!
